As a nanny, I love keeping kids engaged with fun and meaningful activities. I enjoy doing arts and crafts with them—it’s a great way to get creative and let their imagination shine. I also like reading books together, which helps build their vocabulary and love for stories. Playing outside is always a favorite too—whether it’s going for a walk, playing tag, or having a mini picnic, fresh air and movement are important.
I also enjoy baking simple treats with the kids or doing little science experiments to spark curiosity. For quiet time, we can do puzzles, build with blocks, or play educational games. I always aim to mix fun with learning while making sure everything we do is safe and age-appropriate.

The most important part about being a nanny, in my opinion, is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children can grow, feel secure, and be themselves. I believe my role goes far beyond just watching kids — I’m there to nurture them, help guide their development, and support the family however I can. Being reliable, patient, and attentive is key, because I know parents are trusting me with the most important part of their lives — their children. That trust means everything to me, and I take it very seriously.
