A little bit about me

Hello my name is Emalee Valdez. I’m a young Latina woman aspiring to make a
brighter future for our youth. My first job with kids was at a daycare/school & it was a great joy. I’ve always had a passion for being a provider, even as a child, I always assisted my mother in taking care of my younger siblings. That’s where it all started. I knew then that I was destined to be a caretaker.

One of my favorite things to do in my free time is get outside and be in nature. I feel
that it’s essential for a child to get outside, get some sun
Some other things I enjoy are art and music. Music is one of the best forms of therapy. I  love to get creative and have fun with crafts as well. Combining the two calls for a lot of fun. Cooking is another hobby of mine. I love to prepare meals and cook many variations of great foods such as Spanish, Asian, American, BBQ, etc.

One hidden talent of mine is cleaning!
