I have volunteered in the nursery at my church to watch infants/toddlers while parents were in service. I have also collected donations for Christmas toys for children in need. I worked as a lifeguard for years in highschool and thru college.

I enjoy arts and crafts, card games, some video games like mario kart, wii tennis or dance dance revolution. I enjoy watching movies in the evening, preparing meals, playing outside, reading stories. etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I nannied a boy from when he was about 3.5 to 8 years old. In the beginning he was very dependent on me for things and missed his parents when they would leave. In time, he began being able to pick his own shows to watch while he ate or refill his own water. He would genuinely beat me at Uno and told the best jokes. Eventually we started going on outings to the movies and one time in particular the movies gave us popcorn that tasted terrible and his commentary was so funny. I loved watching him grow and being a part of it.
