I taught several students at Foss Swim school who had physical, mental, and/or developmental disabilities. I connected with the parents to help develop a better relationship to their child. From there I went slow with the student and worked at their own pace. I often will check in with the students and the parents on their comfort level, interests, and progress. I had several students make significant progress!
