The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child’s needs are met. That they are safe, happy, and well taken care of. It’s not about the money or anything else. It’s about the kids well being.

As I mentioned in another short answer, I’ve had experience with special needs. My cousin is actually special needs. I know how to handle situations where the child is overwhelmed and overstimulated. It’s all about how you speak to someone.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I once was trying to explain to a special needs boy at school why we don’t play in the water…. He responds “wow. Why didn’t you hit me? Mommy would’ve hit my hands.” It truly broke my heart because there’s way to discipline without hitting.
