I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building trust—with both the children and their parents. My experience with special needs children...

While I don't have professional experience working with children with special needs, I do have personal experience. My 8-year-old brother is on the autism spectrum, and helping care for him has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, flexibility, and adapting to each child's unique needs. Every child communicates and learns differently, and I've learned to approach situations with empathy, consistency, and a calm attitude. I'm always eager to learn and will work closely with parents to follow routines and provide the best possible care for their child.

One of my favorite parts of caring for children is watching them become more confident. Whether it's seeing a child master a new swimming skill, learn something new, or simply seeing them smile because they feel safe and supported, those moments remind me why I love working with kids.
