One of my favorite nanny moments is watching a child master something they’ve been working on independently, whether it’s pouring their own cup of water without spilling, putting on their shoes, or calming their body after a big emotion. Seeing that spark of pride and confidence on their face is so special. I love being a steady, encouraging presence while they grow into their independence.
