Hello! My name is Emily! I am 22 years old and a recent graduated from University of Puget Sound. I now have my bachelors in Kinesology and Neuroscience and plan on applying to medical school in three years.

I love reading, the outdoors, and I have the most adorable cat!

I have a car to commute to you! I would be open to one time coverage or a long-term position.

I started babysitting when I was 13 (ages ranging from infant to 10. years old) and became a camp counselor at 17. Here, at camp, I spent 8 weeks of the summer with a cabin of ~12 campers ages 13-15 years old. I do, however, have experience working with all ages. At 15 years old, my family adopted newborn twins and I was a crucial part of their upbringing. I have a car to commute to you! I am graduating in May, but am planning on staying in the Seattle area post-graduation, and I would be able to move to full-time in the summer!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is maintaining a kiddos sense of safety and comfort; when the parents are away. Safe people leaving can be a big transition, especially for younger ages, and my biggest goal is to make your kids feel safe. From there, it's about maintaining that crucial environment and having fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

This isn't a nanny moment, but when I was a camp counselor. I found out that I had made an impact on a campers life. They had went from really introverted and not taking care of themselves, to healing looking forward to the future. I like to think all of camp helped her but I also like to think I played a part:)
