I have younger and older siblings, both with autism (and am autistic myself, meaning I will probably understand your child’s behaviors more than any stranger normally would!), and have experience in school working with those with special needs. I’m passionate about education in all forms, and I *love* to organize! I also have experience with food allergies and dietary restrictions if that’s of concern. I look forward to hearing from you!

I volunteered at church and school all throughout my childhood, working mostly with autistic children and those with ADHD or behavioral challenges. I thrive at getting along with just about everybody, and that includes those without verbal speech!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love using my love for teaching as a way to help kids grow! I love coming up with little experiments or sensory activities to promote problem solving and sensory integration.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve cared for autistic children, those with Down syndrome, as well as medically complex children. I know from firsthand experience how terrifying it can be from both the child’s perspective, and the caregiver’s perspective, when something just isn’t quite working and there’s no words to describe it yet!
