i was born in texas, i moved to mississippi when i was about 13 and moved to virginia just this past december (december of 2019). i enjoy things such as music, cooking, baking, running errands, art, and a whole bunch of other fun things. i absolutely love working with children because how smart they can be absolutely amazes me. i plan on going to college to be a child psychologist, starting in the fall of this year, so i definitely want more experience with children.

when i lived in mississippi i helped my friend karlie (who was a single mom with two kids) with her children, basically lived in house with her for about 3 months and the only reason i stopped was because school and moving got to be too much, i also used to hang out with my ex boyfriends little sister when we were still together, helped her out and plated with her all the time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

i love playing volleyball, but considering these are gonna be smaller children i would love to run around and play outside, games like hide and seek or just spending time outside in general, inside i love cooking and baking, involving them in the process is very helpful to them when they grow up!

The most important part about being a nanny...

PATIENCE!!! you need patience in order to properly take care of children, other important things include helping them out when they are down and making a positive difference in their life, and being willing to teach them things.

my favorite nanny moment has to be when my friends child decided she wanted to get our attention (we were supervising of course, we were just working with her other kid) by pretending to choke. we ran over to find out she just thought it was funny. talk about the scariest moment in my life. looking back at it, its a little funny.
