Hello families! My name is Emily Goudy. I graduated from Radford University in May 2016 where I received my Bachelor of Science. I majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in English and Education. This program provided me with the unique opportunity to build an individualized, multi-disciplinary course of study, integrating the two concentrations about which I am most passionate. These skills allow me to foster an educational, nurturing, and fun environment for your growing children. I am very knowledgeable and comfortable working with all age groups. Currently I nanny for a wealthy family with separated parents. The son splits his time with the mother, a professional horse jumper in FL, and his father, owner of a wealth management firm in VA. They partake in many social outings and events. The child participates in a plethora of extracurriculars: tennis, swimming, golf, soccer, horseback riding, shooting, and piano lessons, to name a few. Some of my duties include: Manage child's schedule around divorced parent's needs, travel with child and family to horse shows along the east coast, Manage heavily active calendar including scheduling appointments, assist child with homework and school assignments, offer detailed report outlining child's day, etc. What makes me such a great nanny?
