A little bit about me

I am currently studying at the University of Florida, originally from Tampa. While living there, I regularly babysat for families with children 2mo-6years (toddlers and elementary age children) all through high school. For 3 years, I also taught swim lessons to kids ages 3 through 7, and provided after school care in addition to lessons. I absolutely adore children and care-taking is truly my passion. I have a much older step brother who just welcomed his fourth child last June, so my entire life I have learned to care for young ones. While at UF, I have also volunteered in the infant classrooms of Baby Gator, a day care and developmental research center, which is affiliated with Shands Childrens Hospital. I am comfortable with newborns, but also have the energy and creative drive to keep older children engaged in play!
