Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For several years, I served as the Operations Director at a local learning center, where I helped oversee the daily care and operations of hundreds of students. I have also babysat and nannied on and off throughout the past 9 years, which has given me experience with children of all ages, personalities, and needs.
I am CASA certified to work with youth and also spent 5 years working as a childcare assistant at a Christian conference center. I love creating fun, meaningful, and engaging experiences for the children I care for, whether that’s through crafts, outdoor adventures, imaginative play, or age-appropriate learning activities. I strive to create an environment where kids feel safe, encouraged, and genuinely cared for.
I’m also very comfortable with curriculum planning and enjoy incorporating learning and structure into daily routines in a way that feels fun and natural for kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading to children and instilling love for reading in them! I love letting their imagination take us on adventures with their toys and dolls. I love going to parks, and on walks. With young infants and toddlers, I love listening to instrumental music for brain development and taking walks outside. I also believe baby-wearing is very important for infants and enjoy doing that for a portion each day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with several special needs children throughout my life. My dad is the principal of a special needs highschool so I have been exposed and taught how to care for them my whole life. At the surf school I work for, we have also had several clients who were on the spectrum and I had the pleasure to work with and get to know them.
