I have been a volleyball coach for children ages 10-18 for 5 years. I babysat all of my younger cousins growing up from ages 0-15.

I love all outdoor activities especially sports. I really enjoy board games and card games. I also have a great imagination and love to play roll play games with children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me the most is to make sure the kids are not only safe but feel comfortable and calm with the nanny. To make sure as a new person entering the family home and stepping into their lives that they don"t feel anxious or out of place. As well as to work with the parent(s) to make sure its a smooth running process for everyone.
My experience with special needs children...
I work as a vocational counsellor with individuals with diverse developmental disabilities along with a variety of physical disabilities as well. I include them in the community as well and prepare and help them find a job.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favourite nanny moment was when the youngest boy was always wanting macaroni and was sad when his brother wouldn't make it for him, so we all got together in the kitchen and taught him how to make some himself and i had never seen him have such a big grin as he felt very accomplished and happy he could now make mac and cheese with supervision and not need any help.
