Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
1)
Nannying for a family with 3 children for a while, they were between the ages of around 1 and 13 years old[phone number hidden])
I stayed with them from when their mother went to work in the morning till when she came back in the afternoon cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner had them do their homework and help with chores and make sure their two dogs were also taken care of
2)
I also babysat for another family a few years prior to the first one. They also had three kids ages 2, 3, and 7.
Whenever their parents had events or gatherings to go to, I would watch their children and make them dinner help them get ready for bed and help with their homework and also help with chores.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Being there for the kids and helping the parents
I know being a parent can be hard. I saw the struggles that my mom went through and helping her with my brothers, though when I was younger wasn’t always the most fun as I got older, I became grateful to have those experiences with my younger brothers and now I feel like I am prepared with the experience I have for my younger brothers and past jobs to not only help other families, but when it’s time for me to have my own, I will be better prepared than others may
Really my goal with being a nanny/babysitter is to give the parents whatever time and help that they need and to make the kids as happy and calm as possible

My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have extensive experience with special needs kids, though, I don’t think I would have a problem helping most children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The sweetest moment I have with kids that I’ve taken care of where my siblings I grew up with a stay at home mom and I helped her take care of my three younger brothers
(there was an ongoing joke in the family. I was there second mom)
I remember plenty of times when I was cooking dinner and getting them all ready for bed, after dinner we would just watch TV before it was time to sleep and watching movies with them was very fun (and it’s so funny how they always say they’re not tired, but then fall asleep 20 minutes into the movie)
