A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Emily, I’m from Alabama. This is my first year in Tennessee, i’m a freshman at MTSU. I am very experienced with all types of children as I’ve work in a daycare for the past year, and i’ve babysat two years before that. At the daycare I was the toddler teacher so I taught mostly two year olds, however I am certified in birth-12 years old so if another classroom needed to be covered I would go in there for the day. I love kids and am actually majoring in Early Childhood Education and plan to open a daycare of my own in the future :)
Looking to work mainly mon-fri but can also work some weekends if needed!
On Tuesdays and Thursdays I wouldn’t be able to work until at least 3 pm because of classes. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I have one class that gets out at 11:30, so if needed I can come before 3. An off time can be decided based on whenever parents get off work and come home!

I’ve worked with autistic children of several ages (1 yr, 2 yrs, 5 yrs, 8 yrs, and 12 yrs) through the daycare I worked at before moving here.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Not a nanny moment but walking into my classroom at the daycare and hearing all of my kids say their own version of my name (enemy, alily, anemy, abeny, etc.) while they all race to give me the biggest hug their little arms could give!
