Read with children, imaginative play, outdoor walks/ trips to the park; I love a good Disney movie and structured learning (I.e., flashcards, workbooks, etc.). I am an excellent homework helper, especially in Social Studies and English. I am open to doing pretty much everything!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a Nanny is more than just holding space and maintaining order within a home until the child's parents/caregivers return home. My approach is simple: treat children like the people they are. As someone going into the field of Social Work, I find my process to be more emotional than others'. Children have emotions, thoughts, and feelings. I give children the tools to be emotionally in tune with themselves and those around them. Being a Nanny is to help children become good, kind people while having fun, of course!
