I have also cared for children in a VBS camp since I was 13 and then worked for the park district from when I was 15 till 20. I stopped because I moved away for college.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing about being a nanny, is to really make sure that the kids are having fun and also being able to learn from you. Whether that is an activity you are doing together or behaviors you project, it's important to set a good example because kids are sponges and they really do soak up their environment.
My experience with special needs children...
I have quite limited experience with special needs children other than behavioral issues, I am willing to learn however.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are when I have seen kids that I have spent summers with come up to me at my other jobs and say hi and even sometimes bring me cute little crafts. I have also had kiddos talk to my sisters and friends that also worked the summer camps with me and tell me how the kids were asking about me and when I'll be back.
