I have worked after school care for 3 years, I did children swim lessons for about a year, and I am just ending my RBT career to start at a k-8 school.

I love to be outside! I love chalk, bubbles, swimming, etc! I also love to be inside when it’s super hot out haha. Playdoh, sensory bins, etc. I like to incorporate learning into play, and make learning fun.

I think just being a safe, fun, and nurturing person is so important. I love to watch kids learn and grow new things. It’s so rewarding and fun.
My experience with special needs children...
I was an RBT for about 6 months, I worked 1-1 with children on the autism spectrum and I truly adored it. My oldest client was 12 and youngest was 4. I didn’t do much “care taking” with them but I did love to connect, teach, and play with them and ensure that they knew I was a safe person that they could depend on if needed.
