More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love coloring & painting, so if i am able to i love to have some creative activities planned for the kids. I also love the outdoors, so I love to take my nanny kids on walks or to the park.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My goal as being a nanny is to make sure that the parents have nothing to worry about when I am with the kids, I want you to know that your kids are in great hands. As well as the kids feeling comfortable with me, even when feeling scared, anxious, upset, i want them to be able to feel comfortable communicating that with me, & we go from there to figure out what I can do to make them feel better.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience in working with special needs children but it is very minimal. I’ve worked with children with less severe autism, other than that not much experience in that specific care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment with my long term nanny kid is when he let me know how much i mean to him, he said to me “you know emi, you’re my family & you always will be even when you move away” the absolute sweetest thing ever!

Part-Time Nanny Available in Richmond, VA: Sally L.
I have worked as a nanny for 6 years after I retired from the Federal Government. I have worked for two beautiful families and I would love to meet a new family. (I have wonderful references) I love to watch sports on tv especially the Commanders. I also like to workout and spend time with my family. I moved to Richmond six years ago to help take care of my parents. My mom passed a few years ago and I currently help take care of my dad a couple of days a week along with my sister. I am very friendly but also live by the parents rules when it comes to their children.

Why nanny work? I worked in a regulated daycare in my late 20s. Definitely pros and cons to that learning environment. Personally I consider large classes a [ con ] to early child development. I am opinionated which stems from years of living, travel and academic learning. That said, I know play is learning and I will do my best to create a light playful environment while ensuring safety.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Richmond, VA: Madeline S.
Hi! My name is Maddi . I am 30 years old, I am based in The Fan area and I am currently working as a preschool teacher for young toddlers. I do not drive but will come wherever is needed! I have been caring for little ones since I was young and have around 6 years of paid experience in preschool environments. I have also spent those years networking and babysitting. I'm looking to move out of a more conventional day job role and see how nannying suits my lifestyle. I thrive in one-on-one and small group environments with children. I have the most experience with children aged 2-3 but I have worked and cared for children as young as 5 months up to to age 10. As a teacher, I am constantly learning and eager to share fresh knowledge with children in my care. I believe a strong connection with the whole family is what makes the difference between a good caregiver and a great one. I'd love to have the chance to see how I may fit into your family's life!
