A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Emily! I just graduated from the University of Iowa and am looking for any way I can to make it through living in the big city on my own! Many friends have suggested that nannying can be a great out let for those with child care experience who aren't looking to start corporate jobs yet! I grew up performing and so love to be creative with the kiddos getting them off of devices with fun planned activities or curicculum. I majored in journalism and have always been a strong writer so I really enjoy homework help as well! I was raised by a professional chef so cooking for the kiddos is so much fun, I am a really organized person and can promise you will come home to a cleaner space than when you left it and I also have a vehicle to carpooling, pick ups and drop offs are a breeze! I am looking for a full time position but I am also open to part time depending on rates and consistency. Hope to meet soon :)

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

10+ years of babysitting and nannying experience, I also was a sleep away camp councilor for 4 years responsible for children ages 3rd through freshman year of high-school while they were away from home for weeks at a time. I also have expeiencrence with special needs children and have served as the regular family babysitter for a family who had a daughter with down-syndrome, and a family who had a son with autism.

I love coming up with creative ways to get children off screens. Outdoors activities, sports, crafts, dance music and creativity!
