More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as a camp counselor since 2021 (this is my 5th summer) with the age group of 7-10 year olds. This summer I will be working at a camp with middle schoolers, and prior to that I have been helping out at a Montessori preschool ( ages 1-5 ). I also spent a winter season teaching ski skills to a group of 9-10 year olds at Sunday River in Maine. During my time on my high school swim team I was also asked to help out with weekend swim lessons at my local pool, which kids ranging from 1-5 years old!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking children to outdoor places and spending as much time outside as possible! I try to spend as little time on screens, so letting them show me the toys they might have or, depending on how many are in a group, I can usually think of an activity that can be done in a group setting as we do that a lot at the camp I work at. I also love doing many different crafts and showing children how they can do them too!
