Hi! My name is Emma Dilley, and I am currently a Freshman at Dallas Baptist University! I am a Pre-Medicine Biology major, and I hope to one day become a Neonatologist and work in the NICU! Throughout my junior and senior year of high school, I was able to gain a variety of medical certifications that allow me to work in any healthcare setting and keep your babies safe! I have my Clinical Medical Assistant Certification, Phlebotomy Technician Certification, Patient Care Technician Certification, CPR certification, and Basic Life Support Certification. I have babysat friends and families for around 5 years ever since I turned 13! I absolutely love caring for people, and for me, the best way I do that is by babysitting!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered in the NICU at my local hospital for 60+ hours. There I held babies for their "touch time", changed diapers, took temps, gave baths, and bottle fed them. I also babysat on a consistent basis throughout middle school and high school for a number of families in my community.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going outside to play and get some fresh air. I also enjoy reading, playing games, or playing whatever the kids would like (as long as its safe).

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny has a variety of responsibilities, but for me, the most important is safety. Nothing else matters unless the kids are safe. With that being said, I do my absolute best to prevent any accidents so that the kids and I are able to have the best time.

My experience with special needs children...

Throughout high school, I would volunteer for our special needs department, and I was a buddy for the special needs field day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the sweetest part of babysitting is having kids snuggle up on you. It is such a precious thing to me that these kids feel that I am a safe place for them to be, and it just warms my heart in the best way.
