Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting creative and making everyday moments fun for kids. I’ve built blanket forts, turned the stairs into a pillow slide, and even made a backyard water slide with a hose and the playground. I’m always up for arts and crafts like painting or drawing, cooking together, or playing games like hide-and-seek or tag. I’m happy to join in on anything the kids want to do, and I bring full creativity to playtime — but I always make sure we clean up afterward. I also enjoy getting outside for walks, bike rides, trips to the park, or other adventures.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny isn’t just about making sure a child doesn’t run into the street or touch a hot stove — anyone can do that. It’s about caring for their emotional and mental safety too. A good nanny creates a calm, loving environment where kids feel completely safe, both in their home and in their hearts. My experience with special needs children...
I have a lot of experience with children who have special needs. My parents are psychologists, so I grew up around those environments and learned early on how to be patient, understanding, and supportive. In school, I was often the one advocating for and standing up for kids with special needs, and that taught me how important it is to make sure they feel included and valued. I understand the extra attention and care they may need, and I genuinely love interacting with them and finding ways to help them thrive.
