More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 3 years of experience working as a supervisor at children’s play place called Cheeky Monkeys. In my previous role here I was directly working and interacting with children every single day. This included teaching and engaging with them in various activities! About 2 years into this position I got an opportunity to start working at another play place called Play Street Museum. In between working in actual businesses I babysat weekly for children of different ages! Currently, I babysit weekly and am looking to help out more families!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

It is always my goal to create a fun, creative, playful environment for the kiddos! I love doing activities like arts and crafts, reading storybooks, building forts, playing make-believe, and spending time outside if possible! Whether it’s riding a bike, going on a walk, playing at the park, or doing a little nature scavenger hunt, I love spending time in the sun! I try to tailor to activities that match the child’s age, interests, and energy level!

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, trusting, and supportive environment where children have the ability to grow their development and be themselves! It’s not just about watching them—It’s about creating a relationship and being someone they can emotionally and physically rely on! Making sure kiddos feel heard and seen is what is most important to me.

My experience with special needs children...

While I have limited experience with special needs children overall, I have cared for children with autism in the past. I’m always patient, open to learning, and committed to providing the absolute best care possible that meet the needs of a child! I’m also easy adaptable and receptive to guidance from parents to ensure best possible care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when I was watching a little 5 year old boy who pretended he was a business man and I was his daughter….Anytime I called him by his name he would say “No! It’s Dad!” He was so serious about it, and it was honestly the funniest and sweetest things. Moments like that remind me just how creative kids minds are!
