Hi! My name is Emma and I am 18 years old. I have been babysitting, and caring for children for as long as I can remember and I love it. I am graduating high-school in June, and then I will be pursuing my degree in early childhood development, to later become an elementary school teacher! I had my first nannying job last summer and I absolutely loved it. I would only be able to do part-time jobs as of right now, but as soon as I graduate, I would love a full-time nannying job. I love helping around the house, and would love to help with any overwhelming tasks you may not have the chance to get to on your own day-to-day basis. All while providing the best, nurturing care to your children. I am a big sister of 2 and they are my little babies who I would protect from anything, and I would treat your children no differently. More About Me

I currently do 2 hours of work, 4 days a week, in a first grade and kindergarten class, where I help the students with their station work and many other activities. I absolutely love doing this and has driven me to want to be a teacher even more!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts, and doing anything that can let the kids imagination soar. I love playing outside, and talking walks with my kids. I often times bring my own arts and crafts to do projects with the kids!

The most important part of being a nanny is not only the experience you gain, but the experience you are giving to the child. I thrive to make everyday a fun happy day for my kiddos, even when I am not. Being a nanny is all about being there for the kids you are watching, and ensuring that they are physically, and mentally happy and safe in your care.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a 5 year old cousin who is autistic, that I have been babysitting since he was a newborn. I have gained so many skills from this such as extreme patience, describing things to children in such a way that they can understand, and positive redirection and reinforcement.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are always the moments where me and my kids are cuddling and bonding. I love creating relationships with my kids and even their families. I have become so close to the last family that I nannied for, and I just love being apart of their family in a way.
