Hello! My name is Emma Muresan, and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Washington! I have worked as a Teacher's Assistant at KinderCare, along with working with multiple families since the age if 15. I am extremely experienced with toddlers and or kids ages 1-13+. I have worked with a multitude of neurodivergent children along with children that have behavioral issues. I am patient, loving, and have a passion for children! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a Teachers Assistant at KinderCare, along with my CNA clinical where I had to care for children and people of all ages in the hospital. Along with that, I worked privately for families tutoring and taking care of their children! I, also being the oldest in my family, grew up taking care of the rest of my younger siblings and cousins! I am great with children of any age.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Something that is a big ideal for me is the importance to express yourself! Teaching children the importance of that through coloring, sports, games, reading, or other activities is something I really value. Brain and physically stimulating activities are also a must too! Reading, going on a walk, playing some catch, or working on their spelling and comprehension skills! :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety! Of course, there are many other extremely important responsibilities that Nannys have to provide, but safety is an utmost priority. Keeping your child safe and well taken care of isn't something I have to consider but is something that I always unconditionally provide.

My experience with special needs children...

Working at KinderCare, I worked with an array of special needs children. I am very experienced with Autism and worked very closely with children who have it. Building trust with Nanny's who could potentially be working for a special needs child is a must, and I would love to provide that and show how much I care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite Nanny moment was when I was working with a private family. They had a son, and I would put him to bed on the weekends around 10pm. One night, we were doing our usual bedtime routine such as teeth brushing, potty time, changing into our pjs, and getting all tucked in! After I finished reading our nightly bedtime story, he gave me a big hug and said, "goodnight, Emma, I love you!" It was such a sweet and vulnerable moment!
