More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I babysat and nannied for two families consistently my junior and senior year of high school. During those two years I taught a preschool class with 20 students aged 3-5 years old. My high school offered a program for students who wanted to become teachers. It was a four hour class during the school day!

Enrichment activities such as flash cards, fun games that include sight words, making crafts, taking them to the park, swimming, playing games inside or outside

I believe that providing a safe space for the kids to have fun and express their feelings and personalities is the most important part of being a nanny. building strong and fun relationships with the kids while still being a responsible adult they can trust and feel safe with.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children who have Autism and Down syndrome. I grew up with family members who have autism or down syndrome. I taught preschool students who have autism. I do not have experience with children who have more advanced needs, but i’m very open and willing to learn!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments when I nanny is making friendship bracelets or painting and having fun but meaningful conversations with my kiddos. I love getting to know their different personalities and their favorite moments in school or during the weekends!!
