More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a cheer coach for 4 years and worked with ages 2-15. I also have cared for my three brothers ages 3-10 growing up. I have been in charge of meal prepping, play dates, and babysitting friends of my brothers while parents have a night out. Also, I was an after school babysitter my second semester of my freshmen year in college. I was in charge of homework help, transportation, meal and snack prepping, and having fun/ playing games.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing board games, jumping on the trampoline, hide n seek, tag, and the crazy games and ideas children create. They keep me entertained!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to help the families and children out with their daily schedule while knowing the kids are having fun and their needs are being met.
My experience with special needs children...
When I was a cheer coach I taught special needs children and I loved every minute of it. Specifically, I worked with one girl on hand and eye coordination in gymnastics. Patience and the ability to communicate with special needs children is a gift and I am blessed that I know I have the ability to work with them. I had helped with walking, pulling up, and working one on one with communication skills. Her parents were very pleased with how comfortable she was with me as her coach. She gave me the experience of letting me help meet her goals.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was accomplishing potty training with a one year old. The look on his face was pure excitement!
