Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
10+ years of experience working in the early childhood field working with children ages 6 weeks-12 years old. I was a 4K teacher (3 years) then a childcare center administrator/assistant director (7 years) in a 5-Star YoungStar certified center. I have recently transitioned into teaching in higher education. I now teach college students in the early childhood education program.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love teaching children how to use their imagination. Whether that is building with blocks or art and crafts, I love working on small and large muscle growth. I also believe in teaching children how to be independent and think/speak for themselves. I truly believe in the "whole" child. Teaching them communication skills and social/emotional regulation are important but so is creativity and learning through play. Having fun learn is the best way children learn!
