A little bit about me

I am currently a Caregiver assisting my Dad with his daily ADL's. I have been living with him since 2018. He has stage 4 lung cancer, emphazema and end stage copd. I have 5 adult kids and 20 grand babies. My oldest daughter just moved to Downey from Mesa Az 4 months ago and i currently help her with the babysitting. She has 3 girls, 12,5 and a 10 month old. My oldest son resides in Stockton with 2 sons and my other kids are in Az.
I have been a caregiver either for kids and seniors ever since i got out of high school.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

All through out my life i either babysat for friends and neighbors or worked in a assisted living facility as a Caregiver. I am currently living with my Dad and helping him with his ADL's. He has stage 4 lung cancer and so he is limited to doing somethings around his home, so thats where i come in and help.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Listening to music and dancing with them. My kids loved music and dancing when they were growing up. Music was a real big deal when I was growing up and as my kids and Grandkids were growing up as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Children deserve the best of everything in life so the best thing to me about being a nanny is enjoying the laughter and teaching new things to kids, no matter the age of the child.

My experience with special needs children...

I haven't worked with a special needs child yet but if the opportunity came about I would exept it.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There is a picture I recall and it is a child eating this HUGE piece of a chocolate candy bar and (this is how it was in my home) the print said "what goes on at Nana's stays at Nana's!!
