I love planning activities that are fun, engaging, and encourage learning through play. Some of my favorites include reading stories, arts and crafts, sensory play, music and dancing, imaginative play, building with blocks, puzzles, backyard adventuring, nature walks, trips to the park, and creative projects. I also enjoy helping with homework, practicing early literacy and math skills, and encouraging independence through age appropriate Montessori-inspired activities. Most importantly, I tailor activities to each child’s age, interests, and developmental needs so they’re having fun while building confidence and new skills.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel secure enough to learn, grow, and simply be themselves. I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. By building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and their family, I can provide consistent care, encourage confidence and independence, and support each child’s unique personality and developmental journey with patience, compassion, and genuine enthusiasm.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a caregiver is watching a child accomplish something they once thought they couldn’t. Whether it’s taking their first steps, learning to zip their jacket, recognizing letters for the first time, or proudly saying, “I did it!” Seeing their confidence grow and knowing I had a small part in encouraging that independence is incredibly rewarding. Those everyday milestones and the genuine excitement children have when they discover something new are what make caring for them so meaningful to me.
