A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Erin and I am a 29 year old woman with no children but I do have a niece (1.5 yrs old) and nephew (6 yrs old) who are my world. I love spending time with them and sharing my creative ideas and exciting energy while encouraging their imagination. I am a very nurturing and compassionate person to not only children, but anyone I come in contact with. I work at Jeff Ruby's steak house full time but my shifts do not start until 2:30 to 3pm most days! I am willing to help out in the morning. I can guarantee you would not regret incorporating me into your life and routines! I have experience working with mentally disabled adults in group homes. I also have experience in medical settings. I am certified in CPR and first aid for all ages. I have reliable transportation and am happy to do some light house keeping as a part of my duties.

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts with kids, playing outside, building forts, hide and seek, video games, play wrestling, playing with action figures/barbies. Watching movies, picnics, making up games to keep the children entertained, nervous system regulating and adapting to what the children need each day are also things I like to do. I'm open to games that your children come up with and I am in great shape to take on most activities.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not cared for special needs children but I have cared for special needs adults. I know this requires patience, kindness, softness and empathy. I learn each and every person for who they are and can put myself in the shoes of others to figure out the best way I can help and care for them.
