Hi! My name is Esma, I am 22, and I am an international student-athlete from Slovenia. I am currently attending the Queens University of Charlotte, where I study Biology and Psychology. I am a track and field athlete and have been in the sport since the age of 6. I love all kiddos and animals!! I have some experience in childcare, tutoring, and coaching. I finished a Secondary Nursing High school in Celje, Slovenia, and have worked in the Celje General Hospital for 2 years. I am CPR certified and also have experience working with kids with disabilities. I am looking for a live-in nanny job over the summer (starting in May-late August) and I am more than willing to offer any kind of services (tutoring in math, language, coaching, cleaning, cooking..). Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a nurse in the Oncology ward for 2 years (in Slovenia, where I finished Secondary Nursing High School). I have experience coaching children with disabilities in track and field. I also worked as a tutor for math and language skills, and have some experience babysitting.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time with the kiddos outside, I am very outdoorsy myself, so anything from a walk in the park, cycling, playing outside in general. Indoors I enjoy drawing with the kids, teaching them to solve a Rubik's cube, doing puzzles, and playing according to their age group and ability.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Childcare! I think the children and their needs come first when working as a nanny.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with kids with disabilities as a track and field coach. I also worked with a boy with Autism for about 3 years (part-time), providing physical activity and learning opportunities.
