Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a mix of creative, active, and educational activities with children depending on their age and interests. I love arts and crafts, reading stories, and coming up with fun games that keep them engaged and learning at the same time. I also enjoy outdoor activities like going to the park, taking walks, or playing sports to help them stay active. I like incorporating little learning moments into the day, whether it’s practicing numbers, colors, or encouraging imagination through play. Most importantly, I focus on activities that make children feel happy, confident, and excited to explore.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where a child feels secure and supported. Building a genuine connection with the child and maintaining open, honest communication with the family is essential. It’s not just about supervision, it’s about being a positive, reliable presence in their daily life, supporting their growth, and helping them feel confident, understood, and cared for.

I have experience working with children with special needs, and it’s something I approach with a lot of patience, understanding, and care. I focus on creating a supportive and structured environment that helps each child feel comfortable and confident. I’m attentive to individual needs and routines, and I adapt activities to match their abilities and interests. I believe in encouraging independence while also being a calm, reliable presence they can trust. Building strong connections and celebrating each child’s progress whether it is big or small, is something that’s very important to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child I cared for learn how to read simple words. At first, they would get frustrated and lose confidence, but with patience, encouragement, and making it fun, they slowly started to improve. The moment they read a sentence on their own and got so excited and proud of themselves was incredibly special to me. Being part of that growth and seeing their confidence build is something I’ll always remember.
