Besides being a nanny, I've worked at a daycare as an assistant teacher fir the infant room. I've worked at a different daycare as a floater. As a floater, I had experience in all the rooms, and I've worked as a summer camp counselor for 8 year old girls. I've also did some babysitting jobs and worked at VBS.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing music, that encourages singing and dancing, I have an artistic side, so I enjoy coming up with crafts and quick, fun lessons to help the kids learn new things. When the weather is nice, I like to take them outside wether that's for snow time in the winter, water play in the summer, or just for a nice and relaxing walk.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is taking care of the kids as if they're your own, or related to you. No matter what I'm doing or how I'm feeling that day, I want to make sure that I'm always putting the children first and respecting them and their family.

I was a nanny for a 2 year old girl who had autism. I was her nanny for 8 months.

It's so hard to only come up with one, but I would definitely have to say it was the day that I found out that the family I had been nannying for was expecting another member of the family.
