A little bit about me

I am 23. I have five siblings of my own and love kids. I used to work as a babysitter with the children in my neighborhood and do volunteer work twice a week with kids from my church. As it is a new year, I am looking to make a little more money in order to just make a future for myself and my daughter. I am currently looking into becoming a special needs instructor, so this will help me learn a bit more with children. I have taken classes within child development in order to expand my knowledge on children. I am also a mother on my own so I have first hand experience I guess you could say. I have babysat multiple times for family members and neighbors. As well as on Sundays and Wednesdays I do volunteer work watching kids and doing activities with them through a daycare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play board games, go on walks, paint, draw, learning games or puzzles, hide n seek, and above all music days. I like to make my own coloring pages at times so the kids will always have fun. Must have at least one hour to jam out to music. I also love to do baking things and cooking.

The most important part about being a nanny...

i believe the most important part about being a nanny or even just a babysitter is the relationship you build with the child. It isnt really about how much is paid or what is being done. Yet it is about knowing the child and you have an understanding with one another. Being a second source for the child to go to if they need help or someone to talk to, being the second hand person to trust in, and knowing the child is getting the best from yourself.
