More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My experience includes caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children by assisting with feeding, diaper changes, nap routines, homework help, and structured play. I also help teach important life skills such as communication, emotional regulation, problem-solving, independence, and respect.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in fun, creative, and educational activities that support their growth and confidence. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, reading storybooks, outdoor play, and interactive games that encourage imagination and movement. I enjoy helping children with puzzles, drawing, and hands-on learning activities that build their problem-solving and fine motor skills. I also like incorporating music, dancing, and creative play to make learning exciting. For younger children, I focus on sensory play and simple developmental activities, while with older children I enjoy helping with homework, teaching life skills, and encouraging independence. My goal is to make every activity fun, safe, and meaningful while helping children learn, express themselves, and feel happy and supported.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is allowing children to be themselves and feel safe, cared for, and accepted. I believe every child deserves a nurturing environment where they feel comfortable expressing their emotions, personality, and creativity without fear. It is important to build trust, provide consistency, and create a positive space where they feel secure and understood. I focus on being patient, attentive, and supportive while guiding them in a way that encourages confidence, independence, and emotional growth. I also believe in being a positive role model, teaching respect, kindness, and healthy communication. When children feel safe and valued, they are more open to learning, growing, and developing into confident and happy individuals.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs in a school setting, where I supported students in a special education classroom. In this role, I assisted children with their daily routines, learning activities, and emotional development while providing a safe, patient, and understanding environment. I worked closely with students who required extra guidance, helping them with communication, following instructions, and completing classroom tasks. I understand the importance of being calm, consistent, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that helps children feel comfortable, confident, and capable. My goal is always to help each child grow at their own pace while ensuring they feel safe, respected, and valued.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was with a family I regularly babysat for who had two daughters, one infant and one toddler. I built a strong bond with both children and truly enjoyed caring for them. We spent our time doing fun activities like dancing, singing, reading books, and playing interactive games that supported their development and creativity. I loved watching the infant grow and reach new milestones while also helping the toddler learn, explore, and express herself. Creating a fun, safe, and loving environment for them was very important to me, and seeing them happy and excited each time I arrived made the experience meaningful. Moments like those remind me why I love working with children and being part of their growth and happiness.
