Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a NYC Licensed Substitute Paraprofessional. From my younger years in middle school throughout my education, I’ve volunteered with my peers as well as children as young as pre-k and as old as high school seniors. I’ve working in a nursing home with people of all ages and ethnicities. Aside from my other nannying opportunities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy educating children. I enjoy helping to building their vocabulary. I enjoy watching them express themselves whether it be simply conversations, drawing, painting, dancing , watching them play, and most of all them learning how to comprehend doing daily activities. Like brushing teeth, and other simple practical hygiene tips . Making a snack together.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child feels safe, cared for, and supported while also creating a fun and positive environment. Building trust with both the child and the parents is really important to me, because parents need to feel confident that their child is in good hands.

My experience with special needs children...

I also have experience working with children with special needs as a paraprofessional, providing individualized support and helping with daily routines and activities. This experience has taught me to be patient, attentive, and flexible with each child’s unique needs. I’ve worked with children who have ADHD, Autism, speech impediments, developmental delays, behavioral disorders & more .
