Hi! My name is Fernanda. I am 17 years old and becoming a senior in high-school. I have taken care of kids for a long time.I’ve have taken care of my siblings, cousins and family friends. I took a first aid course my junior year so I know the basics of CPR and first aid. I have taken care of babies and pre teens so I know how every kid can be taken care of. My number one priority is always safety and caution and making sure that kids are in a healthy, safe and secure environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing games and dress up with kids and taking them on walks when they just need to step outside. I could also make their childhoods a little more whimsical with toys I played with as a kid and games and just make sure they have fun at all times and not stuck on screens!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is definitely getting to know the child and how they are like they are or what their personality is like. I never really had a problem with getting to know someone I’ve always gotten told I have this calming and safe energy around so it’s easier to have someone talk to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I’m helping out my aunt right now with my cousin who has down syndrome and she’s just the cutest thing filled with so much energy and is like a ball of sunshine. My aunt likes to say I’m her favorite because she laughs with me and is very calm with me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment has to be when i’m baking with the kids or just playing pretend with my sister and cousin because they are literal princesses and i try to make there lives more whimsical each day by making them watch old Disney movies, play fairytale and I drop some glitter around and say that a fairy or a unicorn has entered like their “realm” and I make sure they have the lightest colors ever because they is what makes a child a child by seeing all these colors and sparkles and just everything.
