Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have numerous experiences working with kids. I always helped my mom with my siblings, as there are major age gaps between us. I started babysitting around the age of 13. I was a short term nanny for about 2 months. I have over a year’s worth of experience in a small town daycare where I worked with 1 month- 4 year olds. I also was a peer mentor at my high school for the middle schoolers.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Overall I love to do anything that brings joy to the child. Whether we are playing board games, doing a craft, or simply just playing with toys together I enjoy it. Another thing I enjoy is teaching them new things. It always warms my heart helping kids learn more.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven’t really cared for much when it comes to the special needs aspect. I have cared for a few children that have autism but that is as far as my experience goes. With that being said I am always open to learning more.
