Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

All through middle school and high school I babysit teacher's youngest children, church members, or family friends to earn money. I was sad to graduate and move to Starkville and leave them, but I make sure to visit when I'm home!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a artsy person. Whether its making paper-mache volcanoes, slime, or handprint turkeys I want them to be creative and enjoy things besides their TV or tablet. I also love outdoor activities to keep them active and healthy!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is getting to be around children and understand how they work and process things. I want to be a Neonatal Surgeon, and feel bonding and understand children now will help me with my future endeavors.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There are two children who I use to babysit back home whose aunt is a professor here at Mississippi State. They came up for a weekend during the summer and would not let their parents leave without contacting me and seeing if we could meet. We had lunch that day and it truly makes you feel like you are making an impact on kids even if it doesn't seem like it at the time!
