I have been a nanny/babysitter for five years and I have also worked in a rehabilitation center with special needs kids ranging from the ages of 1-5.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being both indoors and outdoors so there are so many activities that I enjoy doing. For example, playing different sports, hopscotch, taking a clip board and tallying up different things we find. All ranging from simply playing board games, fixing and trying different foods, arts & crafts, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is ensuring that your kids are safe and that they take away something from being around me. Such as working on a different language, showing them soft skills, helping them learn to be independent, and so much more!
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for special needs children in a rehabilitation setting ranging from the ages of 1 to 5. I have worked with non-verbal kids, kids with disruptive behaviors, kids whom are autistic, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was probably teaching my family of twin girls how to ride their bicycles.
