Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have watched kids as a volunteer. I took care of a whole class, I was practically a teacher. We had a lot of fun and it was in the summer so they threw water balloons at me ! I also watched my little cousins growing up when I was younger and did the best I could. I also have a younger brother who i took care of occasionally. I also helped my volleyball coach with her class, which were special needs and that was a learning experience and also a beautiful time for me. I love taking care of children and being a role model and a big brother for that is something I never got.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I love doing with my cousins when I was younger is we played tag, hide n seek, and in the summer also threw water balloons at each other. When I took care of a classroom for a week, practically being a teacher, I would be goofy and be dumb to make the kids laugh and also made sure they did their work. I like to play video games so I would play games like the lego games or other kid games.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Although I am new, the most important thing about being a nanny is the kids safety. The kids safety is a FIRST priority nothin else !
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have the most experience with special needs, however I helped my volleyball coach with her special needs class, because she was also a special needs teacher, It was challenging, but it is also a beautiful thing to experience and help kids grow and not be scared and to be brave and show kids that it is okay.
