Hi my name is Gabby and I am a young college student studying communications at UTEP. I have been a nanny for about 15 years now for my sisters as well as church families and coworkers. I simply love children and helping them learn and grow at every stage of their young lives. My strengths as a nanny is that I am a very responsible, reliable and a caring person. I also have volunteered at a food shelter in which we prepared meals with different nutritional guidelines, which has helped me with my moms diabetes. My hobbies are painting, reading, and making coffee, which has become my favorite. For summer, I am available in the mornings, afternoon and nights during the week and weekends. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done internships in the Ciudad Nueva Community Outreach Program. I worked with youth leaders to help these kids, first by tutoring them with their homework and projects. As well as them learning about God through activities such as cooking, sports and even arts and crafts.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

i am very adaptable with many activities indoors such as coloring, drawing, arts and crafts, and age appropriate activities if okay with parents like baking, painting, video games, ect. Now with outdoor activities such as soccer, chalk the block activities, water activities now that the summer is here and if okay with parents.

The most important part of being a nanny aside from keeping the child safe is to create a learning environment where they can feel comfortable to ask questions, where they feel loved and safe.

a sweet moment I had with my nephews was that we played chalk the block and drew cute flowers all over my sisters porch, we all ended up so colorful and full of the chalk dust that we were able to learn on the wall and leave our silhouette. it was a summer day filled with laughs, color and lemonade.
