My experience with special needs children...

I have hands-on experience working with children with a range of special needs in both clinical and educational settings. As a Behavioral Technician at Circle Care Services, I use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children on the autism spectrum in building communication, daily living, and social skills. During my internship at Spectrum 360, I worked with students with various developmental disabilities, including ADHD, Down syndrome, and nonverbal autism, assisting teachers and behavior teams in implementing individualized support plans. Additionally, while working at the YMCA, I supervised children with behavioral and anger regulation challenges, helping to create a safe, structured, and supportive environment. These roles have strengthened my ability to stay patient, adaptable, and consistent when working with children who require individualized attention and care.
