More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a professional nanny for a one year old boy and a three year old girl. I also assisted in coordinating playdates for them, where I was tasked with supervising and caring for multiple children at a time. Additionally, I have volunteered in church daycares and Sunday schools for my entire life, where I worked with kids whose ages ranged from newborns to middle schoolers. I have assisted in providing childcare for my family, as I was raised with 5 siblings and primarily took care of my two little sisters until they reached school age. Additionally, I served overseas at an orphanage in Tijuana, where I assisted in teaching English, engaged in local outreach, and developed games and activities to serve the children of that community.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have taught multimedia art, vocal, yoga, and music lessons for kids, which have been so rewarding and fulfilling. At my core, I am passionate about helping each child develop and hone their creativity and utilize their imagination. I pride myself on being able to structure engaging activities that promote learning, whether that take the form of nature walks, read-aloud circles, music classes, baking, and even (very supervised) science and STEM related activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is definitely having a love and a genuine passion for childcare. Children are so insightful, and I love reinforcing the joy and wonder they display for the world that they are experiencing for the very first time. Additionally, patience, empathy, and trust are key components in building a beautiful relationship between a nanny, the children, and their parents!
My experience with special needs children...
I have assisted in daycare/volunteer work where I made sure that special needs children had special accommodations and extra attention and care. Also, I am experienced with autistic children as members of my family have autism and learning disabilities, and I have helped provide nurturing and exceptional care to those members!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My absolute favorite moment was when I watched the little boy I was nannying for learn how to read for the very first time. It was emotional, but definitely one of my proudest moments in childcare to this day.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Franklin, TN: Lexi C.
Hi! I’m Lexi! I’m a warm, outgoing, creative, and highly organized person who genuinely loves caring for others. I have previous babysitting experience as well as experience with Best Buddies, and I love being around children and encouraging them to be kind, confident, creative, and independent. I have a BFA in Interior Design and love painting, arts and crafts, being outdoors, exploring new places, and planning fun little outings and adventures. Professionally, I’ve spent the past five years in operations management, which has made me dependable, proactive, responsible, and great at juggling lots of moving pieces. I’m also naturally very clean and organized and enjoy keeping a home running smoothly. I’d love to find a family I can build a genuine, trusting relationship with and become someone both the parents and children can truly rely on!
