Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Babysitting; I began babysitting in 2018 after earning my American Red Cross Babysitting Certification. Since then, I’ve cared for children ranging in age from 3 months to 12 years, including children of all abilities. I’m more than happy to adapt to meet your child’s individual needs!

Kids Day Camp Assistant & Art Instructor; I currently work as a day camp assistant and art instructor for the Kids Club at Inverness Club. Each week, I lead two different crafts that align with our weekly themes, helping kids learn and express themselves creatively.

Children’s Theater Teaching Apprentice; This spring, I served as a teaching apprentice with the Children’s Theater Workshop in Toledo. I co-directed two productions of The Aristocats KIDS! alongside two other instructors at Monac Elementary.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to teach kids crafts! Giving kids a space to express themselves through art and create freely is something I’m very passionate about. I also love to read, go to the park, and do educational activities and games!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing about being a nanny and working in childcare in general, has to be creating a safe space for children. Creating a space where children can feel safe to express themselves and have a safe person is very important to me. You never know what a child or family is going through at home, so do the best to support every child in case they are having a rough time.

My experience with special needs children...

I do have some experience working with children who have special and individualized needs. I have worked with families of autistic individuals and children who use mobility aids to provide the needed care and environment for their child to thrive. I am always willing to learn and support each child in the best way I can! If I have not worked with a child needing the same or similar care as yours- I’m always open to learning to provide the care needed!
