When I began nannying for the first time, I cared for a young toddler who could not speak yet. She was initially afraid to leave her mothers side, but I was determined to make her comfortable as her nanny. A few months later when she began learning people's name, she proudly said "bye bye Gaby!" as I was leaving her home. Her mother and I were overjoyed by her words, and I was extremely proud of her progress.
