Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy walks and going to the park (really anything outside!). Though little ones cannot hike or camp by any means, small walks and afternoons in parks and on the beach are some of my favorite ways to spend warm, summer and fall days.
My own interests are in reading and learning, so reading with kids is a big joy. Thus, trips to the library are a favorite.
With a background in art, I enjoy drawing, painting, dancing, and more. I have experience teaching children ballet and tap, and am more than happy to pass on any skills!

In putting down a toddler with a pretty bad cough recently, I found myself singing tunes to the kiddo that my mom used to sing to me. Quite cheesy, but felt sweet at the time (and the kid fell asleep!).
